TRACKED SKIDDING MACHINE KAPSEN

The KAPSEN remote-controlled tracked skidding machine is designed for logging. Due to the high ground clearance and low ground pressure of the tracked chassis, it is widely used in stands with unbearable soil (peat and wetlands), but also in hilly terrain. KAPSEN is characterised by its simple operation and robust construction, which gives the machine great durability when working in forest stands.

KAPSEN was inspected by TÜV SÜD Czech. The KAPSEN iron horse won a prestigious award at the Grand Prix competition at the Silva Regina trade fair. more information on website BVV.

NEW FOLDING SHIELD WITH IMPROVED GEOMETRY

The new shield geometry allows for more efficient use of the maximum power of the approach winch and increases the machine's stability in difficult terrain. The higher shield ground clearance and improved rear approach angle of the machine improve the machine's cross-country ability. The shifted shield loading surface allows for a higher chassis load, thus improving the machine's traction capabilities and thus increasing overall work efficiency.

NEW HONDA iGX800 ENGINE

The Honda iGX800 engine (25 hp) delivers optimum performance thanks to the STR (Self-Tune Speed Regulator) system to ensure stable rpm under varying engine loads. It also features an easy-to-use automatic choke that reduces the problems of carburettor engines, and Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) for better fuel economy (lower running costs).

WINCH PULLING POWER 24 KN

This gives the machine sufficient pulling power to pull even large logs.

AUTEC REMOTE CONTROL

Working with the KAPSEN is very simple and comfortable thanks to the AUTEC remote control with a choice of modes, which can be used to control the machine travel, the winch or the folding shield with stop bath.

TWO-SPEED TRAVEL WITH BRAKE

The hydraulic motors of the engagement wheels have an integrated brake and two-speed travel (can be shifted while driving according to the level of load). The first gear is designed for pulling heavy logs, while the second gear is used for faster movement of the machine with a lighter load, which increases your work productivity.

OWN PRODUCTION IN THE KAPLICE

We started producing the iron horse in 2007 and since then it has changed beyond recognition. Based on the practical experience of our customers, we are improving our machine in all respects. Since then, we have produced more than 360 machines. We are currently preparing other innovations and modifications that we will implement during 2025.

GRAND PRIX AWARDS

The iron horse KAPSEN won the prestigious Grand Prix award for the best exhibit at the Silva Regina trade fair.
